Night Time Butter

One of my favorite things to do at night, is cook. It soothes the mind and the soul…

So… I made Maple Almond Butter(Dave & Luna Approved)

First I poured 1 tbsp. of maple syrup on 2 cups of raw almonds.



Then, I baked the almonds at 325F for 12 minutes, and cooled them in our back room,which is not heated, for 15 minutes.


I then poured the the nuts into the food processor.


Two minutes in- it turned into little tiny pieces…


About 6 minutes later I added 2 tbsp. of canola oil, and then let the nuts ‘process’ for 8 more minutes!
