Oh I do love when I get to see my little peanuts!
But, my day didn’t start with the little ladies – it DID start however with a run(Beccah, be impressed)! I ran to the gym, trained one client and ran home! It was windy and cold but I got a little over 2 miles in all before 8:15AM!
I came home and quickly took a shower to get warm! Guess who got into our bed while I was in the washroom- LUNA! She got all cozy and warm and wouldn’t get out!
After coaxing Luna out of our bed- I made myself two poached eggs over Abigail’s toast. It was a perfect post run meal!
Then, I was off to the hospital with edamame gauc, carrots and red pepper slices, pear slices, mookies, and greek yogurt(which I didn’t eat) for lunch!
Mid afternoon, I met my little ladies for a shopping trip and a walk with baby Luna. After a very successful trip ending with new sunglasses for each of us- we met Dave at the house and walked to Harvard Square to meet the rest of the fam for dinner.
It was fun to take the girls through the yard.
We stopped for a picture!
Then- met everyone at Henrietta’s Table for dinner.
On Henrietta’s website they write:
“Our goal at Henrietta’s is to deliver the freshest available food, through proper cooking techniques and excellent service,” says Executive Chef Peter Davis. This attitude is reflected in Henrietta’s reliance on local farms and fisherman to keep her kitchen stocked.
After checking with the server on what I could and could not order I went ALL specials for the night!
I ordered vegetable/potato soup to start. It was so good- I might have to go back again this week!
For my main course I had the sea-bass with wiltered greens, sprouts, tomatoes and onions. The fish was perfectly cooked and with the sides- it was a perfect combination! Another amazing dish at the Table!!
Dave and I decided to split the Henrietta’s Chocolate Bread Pudding Sundae: Caramelized Bananas, Vanilla Bean Ice Cream, Chocolate Sauce, Whipped Cream, and Nuts without the bread pudding. Thankfully, I notice before taking my first bite that they had added the pudding by mistake. Phew! The server apologized and quickly brought us another one without the pudding! We got through about half of this sundae and were done!
The walk home from Harvard Square really hit the spot after our wonderful meal!
Right now, I have a arnica patch on my back- it’s a bit sore! Aubrey had Natural Patches of VT in her bag and offered me one. I had tried these little patches of wonder in VA and and fell in love! I’m already feeling better!
Don’t forget about the FoodShouldTasteGood giveaway!! You’ve til Wednesday to post!
