A Delicious little Pea

Chickpea that is! My friend Aparna brought me some delicious chickpeas that had been cooked in a little salt and cinnamon.  I’ve been popping these little morsels all day long including dinner!

Our chickpea dinner dish included:

  • one yellow onion, diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 large can of San Marzano crushed tomatoes
  • 1 tsp. of oregano
  • 1 tbsp. of olive oil
  • 1/2 bunch of kale

I put all the ingredients into a large frying pan and brought it to a boil. I let it simmer for 30 minutes and dished it out!

We had parsnip fries and Bell & Evans chickens with our chickpeas!



Did I mention that last week Dave and I completed 4- 30 Day Shred workouts! We rocked it! But this week I plan to step it up! My gym is closed so I’ve had to made alternate workouts plans…

  • Tuesday- ‘The Nox’ with Sarah
  • Wednesday- home spin & core OR a workout with Nyssa
  • Thursday- TRX class with Bec
  • Friday- Stairs with Bec
  • Saturday- ‘The Nox’ with Sarah
  • Sunday- run with Dave Smile 

I’m off to bed since I’m picking Sarah up at 6:10AM!
