Two Dinner Dates

We have had two wonderful nights with friends at their houses!  I’m going to start with tonight because I like those pictures the best –I mean look at this beautiful spring asparagus!!

SO Tonight- we went to our friend’s G & Cs house in Cambridge. For cocktails, we had melt in your mouth French cheese with gluten free crackers(thanks G!), and walnuts! It was perfect with the Chianti wine that they had paired with it!

On the menu this evening: swordfish with spring onions and asparagus with summer quinoa salad(my addition to the meal) .

For dessert: dulce ice cream with amazing dark chocolate and strawberries.

This morning -Elise came over so we could crank out some work! I made her oat & flax pizza with olive oil, garlic, fresh tomatoes, parmesan, and kale (I knew this soon-to-be RD would love the green veggie topping!) for lunch.

Then, last night we went to Heather & Mike’s in the South Shore. On the menu: grilled corn, chicken, veggie & meat kebabs, and gf cornbread. Yum!

My workouts this weekend suffered: I got in some walks and a 20 minute strength circuit on Saturday.

After two nights of red wine(1 1/2 glasses each night)- I’m ready for some water and a hard workout! So tomorrow am, I’m meeting Bec for stadiums!
