Oh my goodness I had the best lunch today: panzella(with red pepper slices, cukes, parsley, feta and a cut up Udi’s hotdog bun toasted) with carrot & coconut soup. It was a perfect post workout meal!
Then – our wonderful friend Brita arrived – woo hoo! She is an old family friend and we are so excited that she is moving to Boston, specifically into our old apartment!
After taking Luna for a walk – Brita and I met Beccah for a trip to Newbury St.
Beccah had told me about Patagonia’s Guarantee & thought I should bring back my ‘broken’ jackets:

I just had to see if she was right because I had TWO jackets that were not doing well- a black R fleece(the expensive one) had a huge hole in the arm and my rain jacket(also expensive) just couldn’t keep the rain out!
What did I come home with: a brand new rain jacket & a brand new purple R fleece!

I am so excited about my new jackets- but really the Patagonia employees were the true stars- they helped me not only with the trade but they were also courteous and resourceful in finding the perfect exchanges for my jackets.
After such a wonderful shopping experience- we came back to my house for a wonderful gf dinner- chicken & peanut stir-fry over brown rice pasta.
All three of us -fell in love with this delicious dish!
Then, Dave came home from his Grammie’s birthday party and had a major snuggle sesh with Luna… she missed him! Oh Luna…
Tomorrow is going to be a major pack ‘em up day!!
