A Night at Rafiki

by Meg on September 17, 2011

Dave and I made reservations at  Rafiki Bistro for Friday Night Date Night.

After ordering a glass of shiraz (me) and a beer (Dave) we dug right into the menu.I was so excited to see GF written right on the menu- it made ordering so much easier!

We decided to start with the tomato mozzarella salad and the roasted beet and goat cheese tower.

We both agreed this is the best tomato we have had all summer!

The beet and goat cheese towers were not only beautiful but delicious!

The owner Daniel came over to say hi and took this cute picture of Dave and I! Don’t worry I didn’t touch the bread- though I wanted to Winking smile

I decided on the curried lentils for dinner! It was SOO good- perfectly spiced and filled with wonderfully fresh veggies!

Dave ordered the swordfish piccata. I don’t even like swordfish and I fell in love with this dish!

To finish it off – we ordered the chocolate dream!

It tasted just like the name- like a delicious dense chocolate dream…

No gluten, local ingredients, and delicious- you’ve all got try go try this place out!
