I’ve done it! I made gluten free cinnamon buns that actually looked and tasted like the real thing. I say- BRAVO self BRAVO!
They were a perfect way to wake the Canadians(Kristen & Peter) prior to our early morning shopping spree at Wrentham on Saturday morning.
After a killer day of shopping where I picked up some delightful new clothes and a couple Christmas present- I came home to start Birthday Party #1 for Dave! With Kristen & Peter in town – we had to have a party!
The girls(including Bec not pictured below)are always a delight to have over for a celebration!
While the boy are as always a hoot to watch
On the menu:
- many many many appetizers(including delicious dips, cheeses, fruit, nuts, and chips)
- grilled chicken legs & turkey burgers
- my famous mac & cheese( I added nutritional yeast and didn’t tell anyone-tehehe!)
- HUGE spinach salad
What a plate!
Later there was Shaw’s sheet cake for dessert(my husband’s favorite) and many glasses of beer and wine-we did not get to bed early
